50% off at Chaska & Chaii launch in Birmingham
HALAL STATUS Fully HalalA Pakistani street food restaurant will be opening today in Birmingham with a generous 50% off the entire menu.
Chaska & Chaii will open its doors at 4pm on Ladypool Road and promises to “bring you the original taste from the streets of Pakistan”.
While the restaurant’s social media pages have consistently been emphasising the importance of good ambience, their menu comprises of a broad range of classical traditional Pakistani dishes.
So there’s a variety of Desi Nashtas all of which are served with Chaska Special Achaar, Chutney, Sufi Halwa and a Cup of Karak Chaey.
These breakfasts include the Lahori Paya or Lahori Chaney, both of which come with freshly baked naan or puri; the Pothwari/Mirpuri Special of Puri Lassi Saag, Makaee Roti with Butter, and other treats.
There’s a Taaza and Garma Garram Chaska menu, with dishes such as Cod Masala Fish with naan or fries, as well as Chappal Kebab available as a dozen for £9.95.
The more heartier dishes come under their Traditional Special Chaska menu, and include a Chicken Biryani Special and Pulaue Kebab, with all dishes being served with either two naans or rotis, or boiled rice, alongside salad, desi chutni and achaar.
From their selection of grilled food, there’s the customary Mixed Grill Special and Lamb Chops, along with a choice of four burgers.
For desserts there’s a huge variety all of which include the traditional Faloodas, Kulfis, Barfi, Cham Cham, Gulab Jaaman and Ras Malaaee, and can be washed down with your Chaii Chaska, the most interesting of which has to be the Tandoori Doodhe-patti.
