New Chennai Dosa in Derby confirms Halal menu

A South Indian restaurant that specialises in dosas has debuted in Derby while also having informed FtLion of its Halal status.
While this latest branch on London Road is Chennai Dosa’s 14th so far, only four others currently cater for Halal.
A representative at the Derby store informed FtLion that, in addition to this site, the others that serve Halal are Leicester, Birmingham, Coventry and Wolverhampton.
Chennai Dosa, which also specialises in Sri Lankan dishes, opened its first branch in 2003, in East Ham, East London.
They boast an extensive menu which also includes biryanis, noodles, as well as items from the tandoor and tawa section.
