A Halal steakhouse has introduced South Croydon to the exciting concept of DIY steaks and 400-degree hot stones.
But what’s even more exciting is that Chicago Steakhouse has teamed up with FtL to offer its readers an exclusive 25% off across the entire menu.
To redeem your discount, all you have to do is quote “Feed the Lion 25” to any member of staff before ordering (expires 12 Jan 2018; valid for 1 main meal and 1 drink per person; cannot be used for groups of more than 6).
Havng personally tried this concept first hand at SteakInn in Watford, we can confirm that DIY steaks is an immensely immersive and interactive experience.
After your selected meat(s) – all-aged and locally sourced – is lightly grilled and brought out along with your 400-degree hot stone, you have full control over how you want to cook and season your steak.
Provided staff are at hand to guide those less experienced, there’s something incredibly satisfying in cooking steaks to your preferred doneness before devouring piping hot them there and then.
You couldn’t get a more freshly-off-the-pass steak than that!
Of course, the fillet steak, given its tenderness, is the most popular, with a number of sides available including Chicago Steakhouse’s steak cut fries and creamy mash potato being the most popular.
Buffalo wings are also available which, they say, is their most popular dish from the appetisers.
While mocktails will be introduced shortly, the restaurant itself is completely halal, with no alcohol sold on the premises, though a BYOB (bring your own [alcohol] bottle) policy is in operation.
