Iconic Chicken Cottage hits landmark 50th opening

Legendary chicken brand Chicken Cottage has opened its landmark 50th site with a double opening in London.

The fast food concept opened restaurants on Waldergrave Road in Teddington before hitting its 50th on Fore Street in Edmonton.

Having first launched in London’s Wembley almost 30 years ago in 1994, Chicken Cottage is now wholly owned by TI Global Holdings, incorporated in Malaysia.

“It was a busy week as we opened Chicken Cottage stores in both Teddington and Edmonton. This brings the number of Chicken Cottage stores in the UK to 50 – congratulations to the entire team,” the company reportedly said.

Having appointed the experienced Nurul Islam Mohamed Yusuf as its new head of global development earlier this year, the company will be looking to add to its portfolio of branches dotted across the UK.
