Chin Chin crack puzzle to deliver frozen ice cream in the post

Chin Chin have “finally cracked” the conundrum on how to deliver ice cream through the post without it melting.

The solution lies in the use of super cool liquid nitrogen which allows ice cream to be posted across the UK “for the very first time”, the London-based company said.

The idea proved so popular that their fully Halal limited edition selection boxes, which included signature flavours: Burnt Butter Caramel, Tonka Bean, and Strawberry Milk, all sold out within a day.

The good news is that another exclusive selection is now available for pre-order via their website for £15 with the first 50 orders receiving a free tub of fluff.

Posting on Instagram, Chin Chin announced last Friday: “Yesss babes we’ve finally cracked it! You can now enjoy our ice cream for the very first time wherever you are in the UK with ICE – CREAM – IN – THE – POST.”

They revealed: “Your ice cream selection is hand churned and not just frozen, but supercooled to -196C in our Soho Kitchen by our team of pastry chefs. With the help of a bit of science and magic (plus lots of trial & error) you can now enjoy our ice – cream in the post for the very first time wherever you are in the UK.”
