Huthwaite Halal chippy’s latest combo meal goes viral

A long established fish and chip shop in Nottinghamshire known for conceiving wacky takeaway combinations has succeeded in creating another.
Chip Inn have introduced what they call a ‘Battered Cob Box’ which houses a battered loaf of round cob bread containing doner meat that’s been deep fried.
The self-proclaimed “best fish and chip shop in the Ashfield area” also began serving battered chip cobs a week earlier at the request of local customers.
Earlier this month, the takeaway was even featured in the Nottinghamshire Post after one of their giant kebab boxes went viral.
Currently managed by husband and wife duo Erdal Altinoz and Megann Altinoz, Chip Inn has confirmed with FtLion that “all our food is Halal”.
Boasting almost 140,000 Facebook followers, this is Huthwaite’s oldest running chip shop having been in the family for about 25 years.
Some other combinations they are renowned for include a 15″ Chip Inn Meat Box dosed in lashings of Curry Sauce or Onion Gravy.
Chip Inn says it does around 20 different boxes which vary in size from 10″ to 15″ and can contain a combination of pizzas, burgers, onion rings, fish cakes and a lot more.
