Chop and Wok noodle bar debuts in London Islington
HALAL STATUS Fully HalalVery soon we will have a takeaway open in virtually every major part of the UK.
Fully Halal Chinese noodle bar Chop and Wok has opened a branch in north London’s Islington – its first in the capital.
With restaurants across the country, the franchise has launched a small 15-cover eatery on Holloway Road as mainly a takeaway.
This is the brand’s tenth venue, with sites also in Birmingham – half-a-dozen to be precise – Wolverhampton, Telford, and Walsall.
Chop and Wok first began in Birmingham and offers an Asian fusion menu specialising in Pan-Asian, Chinese, Thai, Indian, Malaysian, and Japanese flavours.
With cooking done in a live ‘food theatre’ environment where all is visible, their menu is split into two sections: the ‘Chop’ and the ‘Wok’, where the choice of ingredients is made through a simple 3-step process.
While the former allows the diner to choose from a range of wraps and crunchy salads, the latter allows one to choose from a range of wok-based noodle and rice stir-fries.
According to Chop and Wok’s website: “Very soon we will have a takeaway open in virtually every major part of the UK.”
