GDK’s Choppaluna plans ten new UK sites in 2022

The folks behind German Doner Kebab‘s salad bar chain Choppaluna have announced plans of opening ten sites across the country this year.

Owners Hero Brands said the expansion will start with plans to open another London restaurant in High Holborn in the first quarter of 2022.

A store will then launch in Glasgow in the second quarter, alongside openings in Oxford, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Manchester, and Cambridge later in the year.

Having launched their first flagship store in London’s Bloomsbury back in 2020, the group said a number of further locations will be announced next year.

Founders Nikras Agha and Bijan Azadfard said: “It is pleasing to forge ahead with plans to open seven new restaurants across the UK so quickly.
