Chopstix app hits 150,000 downloads in first six months
Fully Halal noodle bar brand Chopstix has already clocked-up over 150,000 downloads in the first six months of launching its app.
The fast-growing quick service restaurant, which achieved its landmark 100th store opening in December last year, says its app users spend £1 more per transaction than non-users.
The group, which underwent a rapid expansion period last year with 26 store openings, is to increase investment in its digital channels on the back of a high spending period in December.
Thanks to a campaign that encouraged app users to trade-up to a large box, Chopstix reportedly revealed that it experienced an eight per cent increase in average transaction value across that month.
Chopstix marketing director Rob Burns said that while “these download numbers have exceeded our expectations”, he added: “It’s been exciting to see the impact the app has had both in terms of growing the brand and in driving revenue.
“We’re expecting another year of significant expansion, and no doubt the Chopstix app will be a vital resource in building a loyal customer base across all new sites.”
