Cloud 9 Desserts in Leicester opens on hottest day of year
HALAL STATUS Fully Halal
An express dessert parlour opened its doors to Leicester today on what is the hottest day of the year.
With the first 30 customers receiving a free ice cream on the house, Cloud 9 Desserts is located on East Park Road.
The eatery is fully Halal and offers a modest seating capacity of 16 which includes a breakfast-style bar with four stools.
The menu appears to be an excitingly varied one too which also caters for vegans.
There’s waffles, cookie dough balls, cloud ice creams with candy floss, and Cloud 9 cakes.
Beverages comprise of a variety of milkshakes and sundaes – the latter has an intriguing Jammy Dodger version – along with dairy-free milk and ice cream options for vegans; mocktails which includes a pina coloda special served in a fresh pineapple (subject to availability); and ice cold frappes, the mango flavour said to be one of their favourites.
