Creams opens in Doncaster after record-breaking October
HALAL STATUS Fully HalalUK’s leading dessert café brand Creams has launched in Doncaster after having celebrated a record-breaking October with over £4m recorded sales in total.
With over 90 dessert parlours across the country, this latest one opens with delivery and takeaway only, with the dine-in restaurant due to open in 2021.
Located in Herten Triangle, a restaurant and leisure destination in Doncaster that opened earlier this year, the menu features all of Creams’ signature serves.
These include their sundaes, made with gelato from the brand’s own factory in East London, as well as waffles, cookie dough desserts and crepes.
New for winter 2020, Creams’ doughnut range are also available, alongside a selection of vegan and gluten-free choices.
The pandemic caused a change in consumer spending for Creams with nationwide delivery accounting for 50% of total sales from April to October this year, versus just 21% in 2019 for the same period.
With the majority of their stores having remained open, according to Creams’ CEO Adam Mani, Doncaster’s will be operating with delivery and takeaway via Just Eat, Deliveroo and Uber Eats when it launches.
