Curry In A Box opens in East London’s Whitechapel
HALAL STATUS Fully Halal (HMC)A new fast food concept called Curry In A Box opened in east London’s Whitechapel this week with a range of curries and other items on the menu.
Located on the corner of New Road and Fordham Street, the eatery has informed FtLion that it’s currently operating as a takeaway and on delivery apps only.
The owner clarified: “It’s a small place so there’s no real room for seating due to Covid and social distancing. But we plan on having a bar stool section where up to 4-5 people can sit and eat.”
This fully Halal, HMC certified business appears to be offering three main dishes which are available as house options or build your own items.
Choosing from a selection of curries that include Tarka Daal, Masala Beans, Chana Masala, Chicken Curry, and Mutton Curry, you can either have a Box, a Currito, or a Taco, with a choice of two fillings.
Curry In A Box also offer a number of desserts too such as Milk Cakes, Milkshakes, and Cheesecakes with four flavours to consider: Original, Oreo, Nutella, and Mint Aero.
While there’s a lunch offer of £1 off and a free drink with all their Boxes and Curritos (Monday – Friday, 12pm – 3pm) when ordering in-store, they can also deliver via Deliveroo, Uber Eats and Just Eat.
