Asma Khan’s Darjeeling Express Launches TODAY!
The irrepressible Asma Khan will finally be launching her new restaurant, and one of the most anticipated openings of the summer, this afternoon.
Darjeeling Express will be serving home-style Indian food for lunch time service at Kingly Court in Carnaby.
With an all-women kitchen team, Asma will continue to pay homage to her royal Mughlai ancestry and the busy streets of Calcutta where she grew up.
As such, expect something similar to her Eid Sunday lunch menu she showcased yesterday:

Having started as a Supper Club that served Indian food “lovingly cooked from family recipes that go back to generations”, Asma has finally brought her dream to fruition with the launch of her first restaurant at the top floor of Kingly Court.
Expect to also find an assortment of mouthwatering street food including papri chaat, and royal recipes, such as, lamb dum biryani, that are sure to take you on a journey from Calcutta in the east of India to Hyderabad in the south.
