A kebab brand that specialises in Berlin doner and Chicago gyros has opened its second branch.
It was a good week for Doner & Gyros who not only launched in London’s Canary Wharf, but also triumphed at this year’s British Kebab Awards.
With its Aylesbury branch having won the ‘Best Newcomer Restaurant’ award on Monday, the business now hopes to lay its roots in London.
Having taken up residence in Unit 5 at the West India Quay, the 22-cover venue is offering FtLion readers 10% off until the end of this month (quote: ‘Feed the Lion’ to a member of staff; valid till 31st March).
Doner & Gyros serves healthy doner served in a crispy flat-bread that will probably remind doner lovers of another Halal brand, German Doner Kebab.
However, here you can also enjoy Gyros, cones of meat rotated on a grill which first arrived in Chicago back in 1965.
