Doner & Gyros to double portfolio after Rugby opening

Having launched its third site earlier this month, Doner & Gyros is ready to more than double its portfolio this year, it has been reported.
After opening in Rugby’s Church Street, the founder of Kaspas, Azhar Rehman, who owns the UK, Ireland and European master franchise rights for Doner & Gyros, says that five more sites are in the pipeline.
While Bury and Taunton are set to open in June and July – the latter to operate alongside a new Kaspas in County Walk, Azhar revealed: “We are still in the process of finding sites for the next three.”
With a restaurant currently in Norbury, Doner & Gyros is known for offering doner served in a crispy flat-bread, as well as Gyros, which are cones of meat rotated on a grill that first arrived in Chicago back in 1965.
While its first two sites in Aylesbury and Canary Wharf have closed, Doner & Gyros not only has restaurants in Norbury and Reading, but also a presence in the UAE, US, India and Canada.
