The German brand will be opening in Halle Square of Arndale Centre with the offer running from the time they open in at 11am until 3pm.
The brand has confirmed with FtLion its Halal status clarifying: “Some of our items including our Doner and Shawarma are certified Halal. We do serve non-Halal products, but we take great care to store, cook and serve these items separately.”
Coming from the same team behind Döner Haus, the fast-casual restaurant’s first store opened in Leeds in 2019 and further sites in Leicester, Manchester and Glasgow will follow early next year.
Offering all-day dining, takeaway, delivery and click & collect, the menu has a range of authentic kebabs using freshly homemade artisan bread with signature sauces, as well as classic doners, halloumi and falafel.
Sanjeev Sanghera, co-founder and managing director of Döner Shack, said: “We want to change people’s perceptions of the kebab and for our lean high-quality kebabs to become an everyday option for eating out.”
He added that their aim is for Döner Shack to be the number one kebab brand in the world.
