Drunch donate £54K to charities supporting Syrian ‘liberation’
A restaurant brand in London is to donate £54K to charities “supporting Syria’s recovery” following the ousting of the country’s brutal dictator Bashar al-Assad.
Italian restaurant Drunch said it will also be offering “Syrians in London” a 54% discount this entire week “in commemoration of Syria’s liberation after 54 years of suppression”.
With sites located in Mayfair, Regent’s Park, and Oxford Circus, the Halal-friendly eatery made the announcement yesterday across its social accounts.
“Drunch is proud to offer a 54% discount to Syrians in London until the end of this week, in commemoration of Syria’s liberation after 54 years of suppression.
“As part of its charitable initiatives, Drunch is also donating £54,000,00 to Syrian charities dedicated to rebuilding and supporting Syria’s recovery.”
The Mayfair branch has informed FtLion that Syrians can redeem their 54% discount by simply informing a member of staff of their country of origin before ordering.
