‘Freedom day’ Eid al-Adha 2021 discounts & offers
With Covid restrictions being lifted today in what has been dubbed ‘Freedom Day’, Muslims will now be preparing to celebrate Eid al-Adha tomorrow 20 July.
Coinciding with what appears to be one of the hottest week’s of the year, a number of Halal food businesses across England are offering some generous offers.
While this editorial will be updated throughout the day with more deals, here’s a list of some of the interesting ones to look out for.
CHAIILICIOUS (LONDON)

Chaiilicious has been a long time in the coming, but this tea cafe finally opened earlier this month as part of a growing list of Halal cafes that revolve around karak chai (find out more about this trend by reading Let the chaii wala chai wars begin).
Located in east London’s Gants Hill, which has a range of other restaurants and takeaways to consider, this place will be offering a generous 25% off the entire menu for this whole week until 23 July.
CHARRED (UK)

You can save 10% off your first order at Charred, who specialise in delivering their range of smoked meat meal kits across the UK, by simply subscribing to their newsletter.
More importantly, they are offering two mouth-watering Eid menus: 14 Hour Smoked USDA Brisket; and Whole Spatchcock Smoked Chicken, Lime, Chipotle and Honey Glaze.
FLAMIN'MANGAL (LONDON)
Flamin’ Mangal, if you don’t know, is unique in that it happens to be one of the very few alcohol-free Turkish eateries in the capital (perhaps even in London itself).
Located on Rye Lane in London’s Peckham, they are offering 20% off their entire bill from 12pm to 5pm tomorrow. Enjoy authentic Turkish cuisine in sumptious surroundings.
HS&CO (LONDON)
Eid should be as much for the kids as it is for us. In this respect, HS&Co in east London’s Stratford will be repeating their annual ‘Kids Eat Free’ (one child per every adult ordering a main meal). ?
Valid after 6.30pm from Tuesday till Thursday 22 July, bring your little ones and enjoy a hearty family get-together with pizzas and more.?
TAJ MAJESTIC (LEEDS)

Taj Majestic are mixing things up with an Eid Party that promises plenty of food and fun activities for the whole family at their huge establishment in Leeds.
Taking place until Wednesday 21 July, activities will include grilled food, face painting, live BBQ, Henna, Jalebi on the go. Sadly, shisha will also be served.
