Innovation to mark International Food & Drink Event 2017
With hundreds of food stalls and thousands of visitors, there’ll be no better place for discovering new products and identifying a range of future trend predictions than at The International Food & Drink Event this year.
Running from 19 to 22 March at ExCeL London, IFE’s annual event is dedicated to showcasing the full scope of today’s global product innovations.
With 1,350 food & drink manufacturers scheduled to attend, there’ll certainly be enough products which fall under the category of Halal.
And this year’s exhibition promises to be the biggest and most diverse yet with categories ranging from bakery, cheese & dairy and grocery, to seafood, drinks, and snacks & confectionary – the very best of British & Irish food.
Consumption habits are changing more than ever before and one key trend to look out for at IFE 2017 is cleaner eating with a large section dedicated to Health & Wellbeing.
From aloe vera drinks to immune system boosting juices and smoothies, the functional drinks market will be well represented.
One first timer at IFE will be Equinox Kombucha (stand N1900) who have created raw, organic sparkling energy drinks said to be full of naturally occurring vitamins, minerals, amino acids and live bacterias.
Industry forecasters expect to see consumers opting for authentic and traditional products, using unadulterated ingredients and locally source.
IFE will also introduce a simple to follow “trend trail” which will highlight relevant stands to source new and on-trend produce.
Event Director, Soraya Gadelrab said: “Visitors to IFE 2017 will witness first hand the emerging food & drink trends and the products that will lead the way for 2017.”
IFE 2017 will be an important event for both manufacturers, as well as food experts and connoisseurs alike.
