Fat Twins, Rosa’s Thai Cafe & Tim Hortons reveal opening plans
We have exciting news of three restaurants catering for Halal that have revealed the location of their next store openings.
Rosa’s Thai Cafe, who’ll be catering for Halal chicken, will be making its Midlands debut in Birmingham “around the end of April if all goes to plan”, we were told, alongside Indian restaurant brand Dishoom.
Located at Two Chamberlain Square in the city centre, this 80-cover cafe will be in the heart of Birmingham’s new Paradise development and will open for lunch and dinner seven days a week.
Having opened their first in London’s Spitalfields back in 2008, this latest one will mark the Thai brand’s 23rd restaurant with sites in London, Leeds, Liverpool and Manchester.
Meanwhile, Burger brand Fat Twins and international Canadian franchise Tim Hortons have submitted plans to their respective councils.
Tim Hortons, who we reported last year offer a pair of Halal items, are looking to open their first drive-thru site in Wales.
Flintshire Council will be considering their proposal for a site in the north of the Principality at the Broughton Retail Park on Chester Road.
Fat Twins has applied to Reading Borough Council to open a branch on 109a Oxford Road which they said will be operating daily from 7am to 2am.
With sites in Oldham and London, Fat Twins have already begun advertising for staff for a new restaurant in Slough, with plans of opening more in the capital and in Manchester.
