2017 winner Feed the Lion finalist of The Halal Awards 2019
Having won the inaugural ‘Halal Food Blog of the Year’ at The Halal Awards in 2017, Feed the Lion has again been nominated for the finals of the same award this year.
Following the success of decade-long Curry Awards and Asian Business Awards, this is the second such Halal awards with finalists having been “shortlisted based on public nominations”.
This year’s event will be focusing on suppliers, retailers, wholesalers, bloggers, restaurants & takeaways and caterers.
Feed the Lion co-founder, Hamza Bajwa, said: “We’re absolutely delighted and humbled that all the hard work we put in day in, day out in championing the Halal food industry, both here in the UK and across the world, is being recognised. Reaching the finals again means so much to all of us here, and we wish to thank those who nominated us.
“Yet, no matter who wins the ‘Halal Food Blog of the Year’ award this time around, I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all the Halal food bloggers for their personal commitment and dedication.”
