Fuego’s to open in Portsmouth with 1500 burger giveaway

A “very vegan friendly” restaurant called Fuego’s will soon be launching in Portsmouth with a massive 1500 free burger giveaway on the big day.
Launching next Tuesday on the 18th, this 46-cover ‘Street Food’ eatery is taking over Indian restaurant Gulshan on London Road.

Having been given an exclusive sneak peak of the inside, the owner appears to be familiar with 2020’s furnishing trends with boothed and banquette seating said to be the rage this year.
With Fuego’s meaning ‘fire’ in Spanish and “commonly used as an English slang term for something that performs with excellence”, apparently “that’s exactly what we intend to do”, they say.
While a menu is still forthcoming, the restaurant has revealed enough to show that aside from the burgers, which include emphasis on vegan, there’s also going to be grilled chicken, wraps and salads.
As for the burgers, then Fuego’s says: “We freshly prepare our burgers daily on-site from mincing to crafting,” with options like their vegan ‘Cracker Jacker’ (pulled BBQ jackfruit and pineapple slaw) one which “you will want to try”.
