Gelato Junction serves desserts and more in Leicester

An ambitious little dessert parlour has opened in Leicester with a well-thought-out menu offering plenty of options.
Located on Gipsy Lane, Gelato Junction is a 48-seater venue whose owner has confirmed: “We are fully Halal.”
Not only can you build-your-own, but there’s plenty of choices for American, Belgium or Stick Waffles, as well as a monthly special to boot.
In addition, there’s five types of Cakes, six Crepes and six new American-oriented pancakes to choose from, seven variety of Cookie Dough, and a choice of eight Sundaes.
To wash things down, there’s eight types of Mocktails and Shakes, and even Vegan Smoothies!
And if that’s not enough, they’ve gone out of their way to serve the classic Pakistani Falooda, which is essentially full of savai, sabza and lots of cream.
Finally, there’s Kanafah that comes in six flavours: Rose, Mango, Pistachio, Pineapple, Nutella, and a Half & Half option.
When asked what five things the owner would recommend, the response was: “I personally recommend Falooda, Kanafah, Waffles and Smoothies, as they have been the most popular these past days.”
