German Doner Kebab arrives in London’s Bethnal Green

We’ve recently seen two major UK Halal brands reach the landmark of 50 stores: Fireaway Pizza a fortnight ago and German Doner Kebab in December of last year.
This time round, GDK open their fast-casual restaurant in east London’s Bethnal Green with plenty of seating available indoors when lockdown ends.
Recently, they launched their Box Boss meal which can be customised when ordering online to include their original KCal Kebab, Durum or Lahmacun Wrap served with Doner Spring Rolls or Chilli Cheese Bites, a side of fries, signature sauces and beverage.
GDK promote a healthy doner kebab option that contains lower calories when compared to the traditional ones found here, there and everywhere.
As an example the Chicken Doner Box Meal, while packing a meagre 46g of protein, contains only 433 calories!
While GDK have already started recruiting for branches in Blackburn, Cwmbran in Wales, and Newcastle, this current restaurant is open now for takeaway and delivery via Deliveroo, Uber Eats, and Just Eat.
