German Doner Kebab continues its march across the country with the launch of a new branch in north London’s Finchley.
Having replaced WHSmith on High Road, this latest one is part of the international franchise’s ambitious expansion plan of opening 47 new restaurants by the end of 2021.
While GDK enjoyed a significant rise in UK total sales in 2020, up 81 per cent from the previous 12 months, same-store sales for 2020 were also up 51 per cent on 2019.
GDK are known for promoting a healthy doner kebab option that contains lower calories when compared to the traditional ones found here, there and everywhere.
As an example, the Chicken Doner Box Meal, while packing a meagre 46g of protein, contains only 433 calories.
Their Box Boss meal can be customised when ordering online to include their original KCal Kebab, Durum or Lahmacun Wrap served with Doner Spring Rolls or Chilli Cheese Bites, a side of fries, signature sauces and beverage.
