GDK intros UK’s 1st pink kebabs in Dudley’s Merry Hill Centre

German Doner Kebab (GDK) has arrived in the busy site of Merry Hill shopping centre in Dudley.
Located in Brierley Hill, the restaurant is part of Hero Brands’ plans, owners of the fully Halal doner concept, to open 78 new outlets across the UK this year.
Daniel Bunce, GDK managing director for UK and Europe, said: “Our game-changing kebabs are revolutionising the kebab in the UK, and we are excited to be bringing our new dining experience to the area, offering great tasting fresh food in a relaxed and modern setting.”
Not only are they serving the UK’s first pink kebabs, but the award-winning franchise is known for promoting a healthy doner kebab option.
Containing lower calories when compared to the traditional ones found elsewhere, their Chicken Doner Box Meal is said to contain just 46g of protein, which amounts to just 433 calories in all.
