Grounded Burger opens first restaurant in London Acton

Having started as a dark kitchen, Grounded Burger has launched its very first restaurant this week in west London.

Located on Acton’s High Street, this burger brand began its journey as a delivery business in Park Royal.

But the concept itself “started in 2015, when three friends… wanted to enjoy a good, tasty hamburger, without the frills and gimmicks, but could not find that burger”, according to their website.

In their pursuit of one, “they set out to make their own. … After spending years doing this, in December 2020, they could finally say: ‘This is how a burger should taste!'”.

Grounded Burger’s menu is straightforward, with seven burgers to consider – four smashed beef and three chicken – as well as an assortment of fries, dips, and shakes.
