Charity event at Gup Shup debut in London Romford today

Yet another cafe will be churning out desi tea when it opens later today in east London to join the UK’s burgeoning Halal karak chai.
While this week has seen openings by Karak Chai, Chaiiology, and the debut of Hi Chai, this time it’s Gup Shup who will be celebrating their inaugural launch with an incredible charity drive.
The new brand has promised 100% of its proceeds made when it opens at 5pm on Clockhouse Lane in Romford to One Ummah’s Tanzania Deployment Appeal.
“We have decided there is no better way than to help those in need, so we have teamed up with @oneummahcharity to allow not only our profits but all of our proceeds from the day towards @oneummahcharity,” Gup Shup announced on Instagram.
As with other such brands, they’ll be offering plenty of Indian- and Pakistani-inspired street food including rolls, chaat, grills, wings, and more.
