Having included the more prestigious Fattoush branch in Leicester’s Fosse Park shopping mall, this tiny takeaway site offers a healthy take on the fresh flavours and ingredients of Lebanese cuisine.

With this being their only branch, Johnny Custard is the biggest of the dessert parlours on this stretch with practically everything a dessert-enthusiast could desire under one roof.

Yup, Jungle Paprika is still going, with a range of choices that revolve around chicken, steaks, pizzas, burgers, seafood, and more. Your one-stop African grill house.

With hot doughnuts, truffles, cookies, waffles and more, Just is a cross between a dessert place and a karak chai cafe which opened last year.

Khyber Taste is another one of those places on this road that seems to have been around forever. With an elaborate castle-oriented fascia signage, this place offers Pakistani cuisine with curries and kebabs.

If you fany Turkish cuisine, then Lokma mangal is the place to be with plenty of shish and kofte kebabs, as well as mezes to consider.

La Mama is a HMC-certified and your typical fast food joint. As one of two sites in the city, they claim to serve “famous special lemon chicken [and] fresh homemade grilled burgers”.

Marhaba, with its half-functioning display signage, appears to still be going strong with its HMC menu of steaks, burgers and grilled grub, and plenty of indoor seating.

Oodles requires little introduction as a brand with plenty of locations across the country. Specialising in build-your-own, pan-Asian noodle boxes, this one has limited seating towards the back.

Qbaraz is an Indian restaurant, and a sizeable one too, whose menu revolves around spicious grills, steaks, and plenty more, including doubling as a dessert parlour.

As a double-fronted venue, Sizzling Spice offers plenty of indoor seating alongside a large selection of Indian food that includes plenty of curries.

The originally-named  Steak House is self-explanatory enough with affordable cuts of steaks coupled with other grilled options ranging from doner and chops to a selection of kebab choices.

Street Chef is a small place that provides customers desi breakfasts, a variety of curries, biryani, and even Indo-Chinese like Chicken Lolly, Schezwan Noodles and even a Chinese Platter.

Uncle J’s Kitchen is an interesting one in that it attempts at “combining aromatic Chinese spices with Indian background flavours” to serve Indo-Chinese inspired dishes.
