Halal tea on tap at Stokepark Luxury Hotel

We recently visited an upper end spa and luxury hotel that made available for us, as part of its restaurant menu, a thoroughly enjoyable halal afternoon tea.

Having requested halal as part of our package, Stokepark in Buckinghamshire, which specialises in all types of teas and bitesize sweet and savory snacks, presented us with specially roasted lamb sandwiches that were delicious.

We were also given a selection of traditional desserts ranging from fruit-filled macarons to these dainty little battenburgs, as well as scones, with everything made to perfection!

And with all items available on tap, we couldn’t help but ask for more of the lamb until we were politely told there wasn’t any more!

We had booked ahead for a large group of adults and kids, and enjoyed it thoroughly.

Next time though, we’ll try the à la carte menu.

This country style estate with its wide open greenery, and traditional old manor building complete with a knights costume display, is a recommended visit just to feel prim and proper.
