Pakistani Haweli opens in London Ilford today

A spacious new Pakistani restaurant called Haweli (no connection with Indian eatery Haweli in Ealing) will be opening later this afternoon.
Located on the busy stretch of Ilford Lane, this 170-cover establishment will be launching at 3pm to serve “traditional” and “authentic” Pakistani cuisine.
According to their webiste: “With over 22 years of experience, our team of professionals, coupled with a delectable cuisine and beautiful ambience, will make for the most enjoyable affair.”
The menu is an extensive one too with over 100 food items that start with dishes like Chana or Samosa Chaat, Gol Gappe aka Pani Puri, Lamb or Chicken Seekh Kebab, Shami Kebab, and Tikka.
Aside from plenty of Chicken and Lamb curry dishes, there’s also Haweli Specialities like the Lahori Lamb Nihari, Shahi Lamb Haleem, Phajjey Dey Paye that’s slow-cooked goat trotters, and Maghaz Masala which is available during the weekend only.
While Haweli will only be open between Friday and Sunday, 12-11pm, they also offer catering services for private functions and more.
