The food hall Hello Oriental in Manchester that specialises in Far East Asian cuisine has opened its second site.
Having launched at the popular destination spot of The Trafford Centre, the restaurant has also confirmed its Halal status given that pork is served on its menu.
After informing that “our chicken, beef, lamb and duck are all Halal”, they answered FtLion’s specific question: “Do you have procedures in place in your kitchen for preparing and cooking the Halal dishes separately from the pork dishes to avoid cross-contamination?”
Hello Oriental said: “Yes we do, we ensure there is no cross-contamination of Halal meats [sic].”
With a branch in Circle Square, they offer a selection of dim sums, Chinese roast meats that include duck, plenty of mains such as bulgogi beef, a bunch of signatures like a soft shell crab burger, curries, bao buns, noodle and rice dishes, and more.
