The Halal burger scene is a curious one at the moment with new businesses moving away from the use of traditional beef patties to a thinner variety.
The latest trend is either the adoption of smashed-style patties or the slim McDonald’s kind, with this week’s new opening Hood Burger opting for the latter.
Certified HMC and located in Hastingwood Trading Estate, the proprietors of this latest Halal McD’s-inspired venture are operating out of the increasingly popular dark kitchens.
As an opening offer, there’s 25% off orders until 7 April either via their website or by calling them directly for collection. Otherwise there’s delivery available through Just Eat.
As for the menu, then there’s the usual renaming process with, in this case, the Big Daddy, Hood Quarter, Fly Fish, Chick’n Sandwich, as well as Hood Angus and some single, double or triple OG burgers to choose from.
