New Icon Burgers in Huddersfield ‘can’t be touched’
HALAL STATUS Fully HalalWe were recently alerted to a new fully Halal burger place called Icon Burgers which launched earlier this month in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.
Located on Westgate, this 35-cover eatery says it uses “the highest quality ingredients” in all its burgers with patties “weighed out and prepared every morning before opening”.
This restaurant was brought to our attention by a one T Khan on Instagram who said that “anyone that’s been knows they can’t be touched” before declaring: “Just recognise thier [sic] is only one champion in the burger world.”
Icon Burgers’ menu is varied with the choice of seven burgers – two chicken and the rest 6oz beef patties – served in either brioche buns, which are made fresh by a local baker, or a carb-less lettuce wrap.
Icon’s attempt at being different includes double cooked, skin-on Belgium Frites in a cone which can be had with nine “Belgium imported” gluten-free sauces.
To mix things up, they also do two types of steak rolls, two vegan options, and some sides that include Fire Chops, as well as two types of “authentic” quarter pounder New York Cookies that are “baked on site” and served with milk as dessert.

I agree with that.
We were treated great by Icon guys and girls and managed to savour more flavours and better quality food and drink than should be allowed in a ‘burger’ bar. I have no doubt Icon are on the road to being a truly ‘iconic’ culinary venue (or venues!)
I have already recommended to friends and family and particularly for special occasions.
I think Huddersfield needs it’s very own ‘food hub’ and think that this may be just the start!

You need to really work on your cooking skills. I ordered your cheetoz special and omg my teeth literally were hurting for over a week as it was terrible overcooked. You loose in business if you cannot substain the basics. ?
