Indian Rooster brings charcoal BBQ to Leicester

A fast food restaurant has brought charcoal-barbecued food with a touch of spice to an area in Leicester renowned for its colourful parade of Indian shops.
Indian Rooster launched on Melton Road yesterday with a menu that revolves around seafood, burgers and skewers.
The small eatery is offering three kinds of skewers – that’s 24 in total of which seven are veggies, nine chicken, and eight seafood – alongside chargrilled burgers, flatbread-filled sandwiches, and ‘spinners’, which are Jamaican-inspired dumplings.
While skewers, burgers and spinners, can be “mealed-up” for an extra £2.00, they’re also offering large meal deals too that include:
- 25 tandoori wings and large chips for just £9.99.
- Two chicken grilled burgers and any two skewers, plus chips, for £14.99.
- Two full chickens, 12 tandoori wings, large chips and a bottle of drink for £19.99.
