If you’re looking for a high-end Indian restaurant in west London that’s also renowned for its incredible weekend buffet, look no further than Indian Villa in Ealing.

This modern eatery is located directly opposite Ealing Common underground station and has been consistently serving quality Indian cuisine since 2021.

Catering for up to 40 guests, the restaurant not only specialises in north Indian food, with a strong emphasis on the region of Punjab, but also serves a very popular Sunday buffet (1pm to 9pm at £14.95 per head) that’s known for its amazing array of dishes.

It’s their a la carte menu that gets the pulses going, with a variety of starters that range from Punjab-oriented hariyali and tandoor-oriented dishes, to staples from the region of Uttar Pradesh such as their Lucknow Lamb Chops.

The menu offers a number of items from various regions of India, including a quartet of fish dishes such as the Goan Prawn Masala, as well as a number of Indo-Chinese items like Chicken 65 from the Chef’s Special section.

Indian Villa’s starters are spectacularly diverse with two popular ones – the Aloo Papdi Chaat and the Chilli Chicken – which, while standing in contrast to each other, pack an equal punch when it comes to flavours and textures.

While the Aloo Papdi Chaat will take you on that undulating journey across the sweet and sour landscape, the tender chunks of poultry in the Chilli Chicken are superbly enveloped in a semi-glazed chilli sauce with large segments of green pepper and onions.

But it’s the attractively-presented Hariyali Salmon Tikka that’s a must, boasting as it does a sexy tandoor charring, which ensures that smoky hit, and succulent pieces of salmon that are coated in a tantalising spicious marination.

If Indian Villa are known for anything, however, it’s their Bombay Butter Chicken, which really puts the “roast” in their tomatoes to ensure that that subtle smoky goodness comes through in spades.

The restaurant’s chefs also have their curries down to a tee, masterfully balancing the spices to deliver the richness of aromas and flavours that ultimately define cuisine from that part of the world.

And there’s no better example of this than their freshly-made, herbaceous Lamb Seekh Kebabs, which are expertly tandoored to a finish, while being tender and succulent, with the heat coming through gently.

As notoriously difficult as they are to execute well, Indian Villa don’t just offer five – Chicken, Chicken Tikka, Lamb, Mixed Veg, and a Prawn-based one – but do so really well.

Just take a look at the presentation alone of the Chicken Biryani below. This tasted just as amazing as it looked, with fragrant straight-grained rice mixed in with an aromatic biryani masala.

And we haven’t even got to Indian Villa’s renowned Sunday Buffet, which begins at 1pm, and is constantly replenished throughout the day, with dishes you simply will not find at other such buffets; all for just £14.95 per customer.
