Fine-dining Indo-Persian Qavali to open in Birmingham
Fine-dining restaurant Qavali will be offering dishes from across the Persian Empire when it opens at Brindleyplace in Birmingham later this year.
Named after a style of Sufi devotional singing and originating from the Arabic word qual meaning “to speak”, it will be offering a range of cuisines too.
While Birmingham boasts a varied culinary scene, Qavali will attempt to bring something different with dishes inspired by Turkish, Arabic, Persian and Indian cuisine.
FB Holdings, the agency behind the eateries restaurant, also confirmed with FtLion the following: “All our concepts are Halal.”
It further confirmed that while alcohol will be served: “We ensure that bar operations is totally separate from kitchen and there is no cross-contamination.”
The 250-cover restaurant is expected to open once restrictions ease where it will provide a high-dining experience within an environment to match.
Brindleyplace has long been established as one of Birmingham’s premier leisure destinations making it an ideal place for something as high-end as Qavali.
