24-hour Jerk Junction launches in Hanwell London

Jerk Junction is a fully Halal Caribbean takeaway which offers “24-hour service” and opened in west London yesterday.
Located in Ealing near Hanwell Zoo, the small eatery is primely situated adjacent to the local high school on Drayton Bridge Road.
And said to have been “seen on BBC Food Watch, Daily Food Joints, Food Network TV and featured in the Guardian newspaper”, Jerk Junction says it’s “rated officially the best Jerk chicken in London”.
With their pick-up hours being the same as their opening hours, food orders can be placed from between 10.30am and 3.30am via a simple ordering form on their website.
“Using the freshest ingredients and secret recipes”, the menu is short and sweet with plenty of jerk chicken dishes, as well as Jerk Fish, Jerk Vegetables, patties, as well as wraps and a Jerk Chicken Burger.
With all meals coming with coleslaw, there’s also the classic Caribbean staples of Baked Plantain, Brown Stew Chicken, Curry Goat, and Ox Tail, with Banana or Carrot cake for dessert.

I have just ordered from here, THE WORSE £30 I HAVE EVER SPENT IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!! Food came nearly 2 hours after we ordered, was stone cold. Portions are minute, mutton had been cooked for so long was basically a pot of mush served with half a pot of rice which was mostly scorched rice from the bottom of the pan. I also ordered a jerk burger which didn’t have even half a breast inside! The worse macaroni cheese I have ever had at all it was dry pasta with a single layer of cheese on the top, incredibly dry and stone cold. So disappointed will definitely not be ordering again!!!!

11 Mar '20Firstly they were closed for an entire weekend – so much for 24hours USP.
Then finally ordered……
reality has left me speechless! I feel scammed! Rice was completely tasteless, over cooked & not a full portion…. curry goat tasted like beef! Tough & v unpleasant flavour. Jerk chicken was the only reasonable dish and was ok. Mutton Pattie was microwaved into a sponge. Coleslaw was full of big pieces of red onion!
Really?!? Our Food can be this bad??
Avoid if you have any love of real Jamaican cooking.

Absolutely disgusting!! I wouldn’t even waist your money!! Dry, cold, oily, tasteless!! ??? wouldn’t order here again if it was the last place on earth!!
