Having burst on the scene late last year with its exciting range of “gourmet burgers and wild wings”, this 30-cover restaurant is located on the bustling stretch of Ilford High Street.
Junglees is the culmination of two meticulous years of planning that initially saw founder Nomaan ditching a lucrative city job as a corporate lawyer to pursue his dream with co-partner and fellow foodie Hamza.
The end result is this stylishly spacious venue that offers boothed seating and an elaborate menu, with a number of unique items like the freshly battered cod burger that’s fried to order.

Not only have they “managed to perfect our secret mix of ingredients and cooking methods” during these two years, but Junglees also guarantee: “We only ever begin cooking when we receive your order which means its guaranteed freshness for you every single time.”
Junglees’ simple 3-step process involves firstly choosing from the following range of beef, chicken, cod, or veggie burger types: The Beef Eater, The Smashed One, The Gym Junkie, The Chick Lover, The Codfather, and The Halloumi King.
This is followed by the most exciting step with not just an unlimited choice of sauces and 20 free toppings, but also three premium toppings of beef bacon, halloumi cheese, and guacamole, for just a quid more.
Go Junglee by pairing The Smashed One with a Strawberry Soda and crispy fries
Once you’ve decided on whether to upgrade to a meal for an extra £2.99, or ‘Go Junglee’ with large fries, a large soda, and a pair of sauces for £3.99 more, your burger will then be made to order to ensure optimal freshness.
You’ll be remiss not to consider their hand-breaded, fried chicken wings, which can be coated in four finger-licking inhouse sauces: Hot Buff, Brazilian Citrus, Tangy Barbeque, or Sticky Korean, with the option of, again, upgrading to a meal.
Plenty of thought has also gone into the Extras, Sides and Drinks, with a trio of Loaded Fries (watch out for the innovative cod bites which are drizzled in a delicious tangy tartar sauce), as well as a Hot Dog that houses a plump “prime aged” beef sausage.

Otherwise, aside from freshly made shakes, a range of eight Sodas, and even the option of hot drinks such as an English Tea or Latte, under 5’s have not been forgotten with a trio of meals.
In short, Junglees have easily covered all the necessary bases; with home delivery available via their partners Just Eat, Uber Eats, and Deliveroo.
