Afghani Kabuli launching in Birmingham on Monday

Named after a famous Afghan dish, Kabuli is preparing to launch in Birmingham this Monday 23 September.

The large restaurant will be opened by Farhad, who will be bringing the vibrant spices and smells of Kabul to Alcester Road.

With Kabuli Palau being the national dish of Afghanistan, Farhad considers this dish more than just a meal but rather “a symbol of togetherness, love, and the warmth of home”.

Having been forced to leave his city of Kabul and settle in Birmingham, he hopes to serve “authentic taste of Kabuli Pulao and other traditional Afghan dishes”.

Diners can expect dishes such as a variety of kabuli pulaos, as well as qormas like kofte and bara, in addition to kebabs.
