The Colonel reopens limited Halal KFC branches
Those who love their kentucky fried chicken (does anyone even remember that name anymore?) can rejoice as KFC begins to reopen a limited number of stores across the country.
“By next Monday, we’ll have reopened 100 of our restaurants in the UK for delivery” only, The Colonel announced on Twitter a few days ago.
While the menu will be limited to help maintain “social distancing… with stringent processes and hygiene measures in place”, KFC says it will continue to donate food to NHS and key workers.
With delivery being fulfilled by Deliveroo, Just Eat and Uber Eats (open till 9pm), the chicken giants added that they would be “working hard to reopen more over the coming weeks”.
