While we say goodbye to the hugely impressive Beef & Birds, we say hello to their successor Kyice’s Kitchen who bring some quite unique food to east London’s Brick Lane.

They’ll be introducing a fully Halal food menu along with vegan options inspired by both the Caribbean and the Middle East when doors open at noon on Friday 7th August.

The most impressive part of the Caribbean menu has to be their Seafood Boils – large platters consisting of plenty of seafood ranging in size from their Medium to their Monster Boil.

With the latter costing a whopping £139.95 and including a king crab cluster, whole lobster, whole brown crab, snow crab clusters and others goodies, there’s also a vegan option The Khalifa Boil of various veggies and vegan sausage.

Otherwise, they have the traditional Caribbean meal deals of Brown Stewed Chicken, Curry Goat, and Jerk Chicken among other, coupled with various familiar sides such as dumpling and plantain.

While a Middle Eastern inspired menu hasn’t yet been revealed, Kyice’s Kitchen is for the moment offering two people a chance to win a large or medium seafood boil on grand opening day with winners announced on 3rd August.

  • I tried this restaurant last night(28 10 21) I like goat stews and curries, but haven’t been able to get one back in Birmingham for some time, I stopped at the Premier Inn hub a few doors up from this restaurant and thought I’ll give it a go, I tried the goat currie and thought it was outstanding, there was a few bones in it but that’s what is expected with this type of meal, if you haven’t tried Caribbean food, give this place a go, it looks basic but the food isn’t.
