Laburnum Street Turkish Food Fair
A food fair organised by the beautiful Ottoman-style Suleymaniye Mosque in East London will be kicking off tomorrow morning.
The fully Halal Laburnum Street Turkish Food Fair will be open to the public at 11am with a wide range of Anatolian food on offer.
Located on Kingsland Road in Dalston, the weekend event will remain busy until 10pm with the final day on Sunday the 15th.
With doner, shish and adana kebabs; Turkish-style pizza called lahmacun; fried chicken; plenty of desserts including baklawa, kunefe and ice cream; as well as Turkish coffee and tea, there will be plenty for everyone.
Similar to the last event last month which attracted hundreds of attendees, this month’s will likewise be holding charity fund raising events.
While a car park is available within the area, the nearest train station is only a 5-minute walk from Hoxton and Haggerston, with the 67, 243 and 149 buses accessible around the corner.
