The Lebanese Bakery open second London site in Harrods
HALAL STATUS Fully Halal food menuFrom Beirut to Harrods, we bring you the city’s favourite street food, elevated with the finest ingredients and cooked to perfection in traditional basalt-rock ovens – cofounder Samer Chamoun
If Covent Garden wasn’t ambitious enough for a first London restaurant, then how about Harrods for The Lebanese Bakery’s second which recently opened?
Having reviewed their first back in 2018, we thoroughly enjoyed their Manousheh, a traditional Lebanese flat white bread, and their bite-sized baked parcels of various fillings known as Moujannets.
All their bread-based dishes are served straight out of the bakery’s very own traditional basalt stone oven and finished with a variety of delicious toppings.
As for their menu in Harrods, then look out for their new signature Manousheh including the Beef Sharwarma with Baharat spiced beef; the Bottarga & Courgette with Mediterranean mullet roe, zucchini flower, confit garlic, and pistachio; as well as salads and sides.
Speaking of the new launch, Samer said: “As a Lebanese-born brand coming all the way from a neighbourhood in Beirut, we take pride in being in such a prestigious institution like Harrods.
“This will be a great opportunity to promote the Lebanese food culture and our star item the Manousheh to an exclusive and international crowd.”
