London Pizza Depot soft opens today in Ilford

HALAL STATUS Fully Halal

A fully Halal pizza service that is promising “to create the cultures and mood of cities and countries around the world” is soft opening today in East London.

Located on Eastern Avenue in Newbury Park, Ilford, London Pizza Depot says its “pizzas are prepared daily, hand-stretched and topped with the freshest and finest ingredients”.

Owner Mohammed told FtLion: “We use 100% Halal toppings, which includes all condiments, sauces and spices. We do not serve pork. Certifications can be made available upon request. All the menu is Halal.”

With a build-your-own option and 22 pizzas to choose from, including the NYC Hot DAWG Pizza or the Jamaican-inspired Smokey Caribbean Hot, as well as a number of desserts, they have enough to keep you busy.

Although London Pizza Depot says its pizzas are “priced slightly higher” than the next, “that’s because all ingredients are carefully sourced and are of exceptional quality”.

While a grand opening is planned for next week, they are also preparing the groundwork for a September launch of a second East London branch but this time in Plaistow.

For now though you can order via their website or by phone with delivery available on Just Eat.
