Madhu’s to celebrate 40 years with two new restaurants
One of the country’s leading Asian catering companies Madhu’s will be celebrating 40 years in the industry this Saturday 28 November.
The brand, which boasts two restaurants as well as numerous venues, has also announced the opening of two more new restaurants.
While the first will be opening in Watford’s luxury 5-star hotel The Grove in Hertfordshire on 11 December, the second is to open early next year in Central London’s Mayfair.
Currently, Madhu’s two existing eateries are located in west London’s Southall – their flagship eatery that opened back in 1975 – and Heathrow which opened recently in 2014.
Renowned for their “authentic Punjabi cuisine with a Kenyan twist, including secret recipes handed down over four generations”, all of Madhu’s restaurants offer a fully Halal food menu.
With the highlight of their menu being dishes cooked on the Robata Grill, Madhu’s are also known for their Royal Thali whose royal status was achieved after being served to the Prince of Wales at Windsor Castle.
The award-winning brand first began in Nairobi, Kenya, in 1935 as a catering business, but was eventually re-branded changing its name to Madhu’s in 2004.
