Two Halal-friendly restaurants will be launching in a redeveloped food court that opens later today at a popular shopping centre.
American brand Slim Chickens will be opening in McArthurGlen East Midlands Designer Outlet today followed a few days later by the Japanese-inspired dessert shop Fluffy Fluffy.
Following a multi-million pound makeover, the centre on Mansfield Road will now boast three Halal-oriented sites, which also includes the fully Halal noodle bar Chopstix from before.
As for Fluffy Fluffy, which specialises in super tall and fluffy Japanese souffles pancakes, then it is scheduled to open this Saturday 22 March at noon.
Part of the Boparan Restaurant Group (BRG), Slim Chickens has informed FtLion previously that Halal chicken is served across all its UK branches.
With the cheese and bacon sandwich part of the menu, and the gravy being non-Halal, they added: “All our chicken is Halal across all our UK sites. We have the same menu as well, some are reduced in certain locations.”
