Mi Chaii to make London debut today in Ilford

The last time we made mention of Mi Chaii was in our infamous article Let the chaii wala chai wars begin which broke down how saturated the UK’s Halal chai scene really is.
We made mention of the number of such businesses across the country making strategic use of the term ‘chai’ and its variations in their brand name.
Well Mi Chaii, which should never be confused with My Chaii in Blackburn and My Chai coming soon to Coventry, will be launching its sixth cafe in London’s Ilford today at 10am.
With free chaii for the first 100 customers, this company has made clever use of the double entendre “Mi Chaii since 1964” to mean that the “ideas behind Mi Chaii go back to the arrival of our father from the sub-continent in 1964… [who’s] been enjoying that tradition ever since”.
Of course, all the chais, sorry, chaiis are accounted for here including the coffees, both hot and iced, as well as desi breakfasts, and Indian street food options like Kebab Roll, Masala Chips, and a selection of Rotis.
