Milk Muhallebi Pudding Recipe for Ramadan

The legendary Muhallebi is a milk pudding whose origins date as far back as to Sassanid Persia. The basic ingredients are rice, sugar, rice flour and milk.
INGREDIENTS
1st Layer
- Milk 2 cups
- Cream ½ cup
- Sugar 1/4 cup +2 tablespoon (or you can adjust according to your taste)
- Cornstarch 1/3 cup
- Rose water 1 teaspoon
2nd Layer
- Water ½ cup
- Rose syrup 3 table spoons
- Cornstarch 1 table spoon
- You can add your choice of flavour, like vanilla, orange.
- Pistachios for garnishing
