My Karak Chai opens in Longsight Manchester
HALAL STATUS Fully HalalThe karak chai cafe trend continues with yesterday’s fanfare grand opening of My Karak Chai in Manchester’s Longsight.
Located on Stockport Road, the restaurant has limited seating, boasts an instagrammable flower wall, and is now open for dine-in and takeaway services.
Their menu is an expansive one too with plenty to choose from including an all day breakfast, with desi choices of an Apna Breakfast and Halwa Puri available, followed by a large selection of Street Food items.
These include goodies like the Butter Chicken Roll, Lahori Kebab Roll, Bombay Sandwich, a variety of loaded chips, and even Karachi Biryani, to name but a few.
With half-a-dozen Rotis to consider, such as Paratha & Saag, or Honey Paratha, they do “freshly-made” Donuts with flavours like Lotus, Orea, Strawberry & Nutella, and Nutty Donut, as well as a mix box of four for £5.
And, of course, there’s their Hot Drinks or teas and chais, which can be enjoyed with traditional desserts like Falooda, Gajar Halwa, Gulab Jaman; or you can opt for freshly-made waffles and Milkshakes.
According to Mancunian blogger HalalMama, My Karak Chai is “the cutest new place in Longsight”.
